I took a plunge with utmost uncertainty,
Wearing a sweater and a dress,
Matched with an orange lifevest –
A combination I instantly regret.

My whole mediocre life flashed right before me,
As the wave of the sea splash wilder and continuously,
Single-handedly engulfing my fear and body,
But resurfacing with new-found strength and memory.

The sea must have taste my tears and agony,
And blend it with its mystic, magical beauty.
